Built on a
beautiful piece of property between Arenal Volcano and Rio
Arenal, the grounds of the hotel are rather large. So
large is the property that their two-hour canopy tour
brings you to jungle locations and river views that feel
miles from civilization. It is also able to support all the
cold with fresh water changed daily, and the hot pools all drawn from the hot
springs of Arenal Volcano. A few of the pools are left
unfiltered to allow for a more natural dip in the
mineral laden water. If some guests find the brown
springs intimidating, they can enjoy the many other
filtered hot pools. Although, you may not want to pass
up the chance to bathe in these murky waters, volcanic
hot springs are prized for their salubrious qualities
and some of these minerals are said to help cure
ailments from arthritis to backache.
The luxurious
Mayin Spa is the place to get pampered. The extensive
list of options includes massage services, sauna,
facials, manicures, pedicures and weight
room. |
