Hotel Lomas del Volcan is one of the more comfortable and beautiful places to stay with great views of the green side (non active side, though this is always changing) of Arenal Volcano.

   The name of the hotel refers to the hump on a Brahmin cow, the "loma" in Spanish, or the name for the small hills where Loms del Volcan is built. These 'lomas' are a very notable part of the topography of the hotel's grounds and the hotel is surrounded by jungle.

   Each of the cabins is made of wood, with a large wooden balcony out back overlooking the nearby forest. The comfortable cabins have two double beds, private bath with hot water, air conditioning, ceiling fan and mini-bar. Lomas del Volcan is extrememly tranquil with a pleasant atmosphere with the cabins spread out over the green grounds, surrounded by large trees. 

Lomas del Volcan is just 3.5 kilometers outside the town center of La Fortuna. The driveway of the hotel is long and winding, offering a great sense of privacy and distance from the worries of the outside world. 

   The restaurant has an experienced chef offering a varied menu covering breakfast to dinner. The lovely pool and Jacuzzi have excellent views of Arenal Volcano and are great locations to watch the sunset. In summary, Lomas del Volcano is a good choice for your Arenal Volcano Hotel - a comfortable hotel with a good vibe and great views of Arenal Volcano and friendly staff.
