Hotel Montana de Fuego

Montana de Fuego Resort and Spa is a hotel with a wonderful view of the Arenal Volcano and its lava flow.

The hotel has two types of bungalows, standard and deluxe. There are pools, a Jacuzzi, trails, wet bar in one of the pools, gift shop and even an amphitheater. The hotel also houses the Restaurant Acuarelas and En Gadi Spa.

    All of the rooms have cable television, a small fridge, and a private bathroom with hot water. Most rooms have 2 double beds. Each little bungalow is separate and has it's own porch with a view of the Arenal Volcano.

    Montana de Fuego is located about 2 Km from the Tabacon Resort on the road to La Fortuna, About 6 km before the actual town of La Fortuna. La Fortuna, San Carlos, Costa Rica.  You will find plenty of parking space and green areas. There is a small playground near the pools.

    One of the main aspects of this hotel is that it is a healthy place. For example they do not sell cigarettes and only sell alcohol as a necessary concession. Programs can be designed with the En Gadi Spa to include activities such as yoga and water aerobics, as well as treatments such as facials and messages; additionally the Acuarelas Restaurant can accommodate any particular dietary needs. The idea is to provide a retreat where a combination of recreational, physical and educational activities can come together to improve ones general well being and help maintain a healthy equilibrium between body and mind.
