The Tabacon Resort is located at the base of the Arenal Volcano. The hotel offers 73 Standard rooms and 9 Junior Suites. All of the rooms feature air-conditioning, satellite television, hair dryer, safety box, coffeemaker and room service. All of the rooms feature balconies with views of the active Arenal Volcano.

   The pools vary in temperature, from the temperature of a swimming pool to the warmest at around 39C (102F). It's a place where, on a clear night, you can sit in a warm pool, sipping the cocktail of your choice, while watching the pyrotechnics of the volcano.

   The resort has an incredibly well landscaped garden in both the hotel area and hot spring featuring many brightly colored flowers and tropical plants. The resort also houses one of the locations of the Original Canopy Tour, has two restaurants, a couple of wet bars adjoining the pools, gift shops and a travel agent on the premises.
