Volcano Night Hike

In Arenal there are ATV tours and Jet Ski rentals for the lake. We don't book a lot of these tours and have mixed feelings on motorized activities. A large part of the attraction to this zone is the abundance and diversity of wildlife. If you don't want to walk we suggest taking a bike, horse or canoe. You will be guaranteed to see more that way. We hope operators are conscious of the possible negative effects to the flora and fauna that certain activities can cause.
That said four wheelers are a lot of fun. We think there is a place for these activities and just hope it does not adversely affect the other, more nature orientated activities, via noise pollution or what have you.
